Product management aligns various functions in the organization and the functions that are generally aligned are

You align these three functions to basically ensure that your customer gets the products that he/she wants and at the same time meets your businessstrategy.

Who drives it?

This is driven by a product manager and a product manager is gently known as the CEO of the product that he manages.

Basic things that product manager does

The basic things that a product manager does is to know the target market and when we talk about the target market this person knows who the customer is of his own product and it’ also imperative that they know who is not buying or using your product. Once you know your target marketer’s product manager has certain requirements of these users and then translates these into product features and implements them into a product. This is a constant process and nitrated process. I’ll be taking you in greater detail on these aspects in upcoming lessons.
